How I am trying to earn crypto from blogging on Publish0x

As I ushered in the New Year during New Year's Eve in 2020, I told myself that I would get cracking and set up my(https://www.publish0x.com/diaperfinancingfund.blogspot.com)blog so as to generate a source of passive income through Google Adsense. My resolve worked. Within 3 months, I managed to get my personal finance blog up and running. Incidentally, this was how I became a Seedly Opinions writer. (But this is another story for another time.)
However, reality soon set in and I realised that it was not as easy to earn money from Google Adense as I had expected. There were many days when I earned just a few cents from my blog - and those were the good days. Most times, I did not earn anything through my efforts. It was around this time (June 2021), I learned that the crypto lending platform I had deposited my crypto assets with - Hodlnaut - blogs at Publish0x. Intrigued, I checked out Publish0x. Suffice it to say that I enjoyed my experience tremendously and decided to concentrate my blogging efforts at Publish0x. I thus hope to document my personal growth and insights so that those of you new to Publish0x can benefit similarly too.
1) I Grew A Thick Skin
I got to say, I have been a freelance writer for more than five years. I consider myself a reasonably good writer who is open to constructive criticism. Nonetheless, despite my self-assured nature, I never fail to be stung by negative feedback. For me, it is true that receiving negative feedback trumps all positive feedback I might have received from a piece of writing. I may not obsessively dwell on it but it will stay on my mind and sour my mood for the rest of the day.
No surprise if you guess that I was affected when I received my first "thumbs down". Not cool at all. But then, the wonderful thing about Publish0x is how it reveals the number of "thumbs up" too. Seeing that I received proportionately more "thumbs up" than "thumbs down" put everything into perspective. I wasn't never going to please everyone with my writing. In fact, if I received more "thumbs down" for an article, it could mean that I had written an article that resonated with my audience - such that it triggered a personal reaction from people and even prompted some of them to give me a "thumbs down".
I also learned that sometimes, the "thumbs down" might not be directly correlated with the quality of my writing. For instance, for an article I wrote about Charles Hoskinson who is the founder of Cardano, I received FOUR "thumbs down"! Perhaps this is because the readers do not have a favorable impression of Charles Hoskinson in the first place.
I'm grateful that Publish0x helped me to detach from my writing and take such negative responses in my stride.
2) I Received Love from an International Audience
What I love most about Publish0x is that it is a dynamic international community full of like-minded individuals who are eager to share their passion for crypto and kind to leave a kind note. There was an article in which I received comments in German and French. Here it is:

I have never received three comments on any of my blog posts before, let alone a thank-you note in two foreign languages. I really feel motivated to write more so that I can enlighten people out there about the pluses and minuses of cryptocurrencies. I'm glad that some readers resonated so much with my articles.
Also, as a form of cheap thrill, Publish0x allows you to follow readers whose writings you want to follow. So, ahem, right now, I have 99 followers. Yes, it makes me feel happy that 99 people like my writing enough to want to follow my progress.
3) I Learned So Much from its Contests
Publish0x also organizes writing contests regularly, so joining them pushes me to venture out of my comfort zone and expand my knowledge in regards to crypto. So far, I joined the Upland City and SwapSpace contests; the former is a virtual game that allows players to buy and sell real-world properties on a blockchain network while the latter is a crypto exchange aggregator that finds the exchange rates from established exchanges and illustrates them to you in an easy-to-understand table so that you can swap your crypto at the best rate.
All these contests underscore how the crypto world isn't just about Bitcoin. There are so many exciting projects going on, so many novel innovations to take note of, and so many paradigm-shifting developments that may just change our lives. And Publish0x is on top of all these changes. I'm quite amazed by how my knowledge of crypto has improved by leaps and bounds within one month!
So that's it. 3 ways how I have grown enormously from my short, yet fulfilling time at Publish0x so far. Earnings-wise, my articles garner me anything from 5 cents to $3.74, so yes, you can't really do it as a side hustle.
But if you love writing and adore crypto, why not marry your interests and try expressing yourself at Publish0x? You could use my ambassador link here:
