Tokenize Exchange Under Interim Judicial Management

Today (20 August 2025) at 4:04pm, I received an email from the Interim Judicial Managers (IJMs) of AmazingTech Ptd Ltd, the operator of Tokenize Exchange:

Before receiving this email, I had already learnt about this interim judicial management earlier from the media:

  Tokenize Xchange operator placed under interim judicial management

According to the news reports, 7 cryptocurrency investors applied on 5 August 2025 to the High Court to place AmazingTech (the operator of Tokenize Exchange) under interim judicial management to protect their investments. The 7 investors collectively had more than S$4 million investments held by Tokenize Exchange.

On 15 August 2025, the High Court had approved the appointment of corporate advisory and restructuring firm KordaMentha's Mr Cameron Duncan, Mr David Kim and Mr Joshua Jeyaraj as the interim judicial managers who would take over the running of the company. Today's email was sent by them.

In the email, the IJMs informed customers that the AmazingTech's officeholders ceased their powers to operate Tokenize Exchange. All withdrawals have been suspended.

I login my Tokenize Exchange account and checked the Transaction History. Sure enough, the withdrawal transactions I did on 4 & 5 August 2025 are still "IN TRANSIT":

With all withdrawals suspended, the scheduled payment windows are no longer valid. Naturally my question would be "what's next?"

The IJMs had given the following action items for Tokenize Exchange investors in the email:

1. To register our contact information and digital asset holdings using their Tokenize Customer Form.
2. To learn more about the process from their Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
3. To email them should we have any queries not on the FAQ.

I will be doing these action items in the next few days.
