The next game changer ?

What will be the next game changer that disrupt the world ?

Something that has the potential to develop hardware, software or something totally out of this world in future.

The more older game changer are item like refrigerators, microwave, television and many more. Basically whenever a new game changer appears, some company will gain while some brick and mortar company will collapse.

A more modern time game changer would be smart phone. Apple broke the status quo of the mobile phone scene and break open the world of smart phone. Though many other companies tried to start smart phone earlier, none did as well as Apple. With the raise of Apple, the 2 big boys of mobile phone (Nokia and Blackberry) suffered. The 2 big boys did nothing wrong with their business but was simply overtaken due to another company releasing a game changer.

I have no ideas what will be the next game changer but definitely something amazing that will change the way we live. In the past, a phone was just for phone call until SMS was born. Then colour screen phone was released and phone started to be music device or to watch short clips. Thereafter more and more features were added in until the smart phone we have today. Something which we cannot leave home without in today world.

The FAANG companies have the ability to the next game changer due to their ability to R&D. However, none seems to have come out with any major product yet.

Among the FAANG, G seems to be the most potential with their ability to R&D on various stuff. With automation and robotic as the next big thing, G would like be the front runner in the race. Self driving car, delivery drones and many other potential.

Both the A had an equal chances but Apple seems to have stagnant from what i feel. They have became more of a club system to get consumer into the "Apple club". As for Amazon, I don't really see any major disruption.

Facebook has a potential product which is their "Libra". However, with the high risk in crypto trading and lawsuit surrounding XRP, I believed this is not gonna be an easy path. It will definetly be a form a game changer but may not be a big bang.

Other than FAANG, Tesla is seen as the poster boy for EV and likely will be the case. Their game changer though may not necessary be their cars but rather other unexpected stuff.

Personally, I feel that the next game changer will not be small personal device but rather something to do with travel or delivery. Either self driving car or auto pilot delivery drones or even flying car. Whatever it is, it will have to be something that will change how we live for the better.
