How I Make Crypto Every Day in 2022

How a Gen X uncle ventures into the crypto space without investing any fiat of his own

Last December, I wrote an article on How I Make Crypto Every Minute.

It gained me rave reviews as people were impressed by my tenacity to milk every day for it’s worth so that I could invest in crypto without using my own money. While this means that my portfolio is nothing to shout about, I am immune to the emotional upheavals that crypto investing can bring unwitting investors.

Seven months have passed since then. I have fine-tuned my daily routine as I stop using some avenues but incorporate others into those spare packets of time. I think that while free crypto is important, the most crucial thing is how pursuing crypto aligns with my interests and hobbies, so what works for me may not be attractive for you. Here goes…

6am - Yes, I wake up at such an ungodly hour because I work as a teacher and school starts early. The first thing I always do is to check my email for the Freebitco.in newsletter. It comes with a lucky spin, so I will spin that in hopes that I will get 50 sats. It doesn’t always happen but when it does, it never fails to put a smile on my face.

6-6.30am - Preparing to go to work. Will utilise the faucets at Freebitco.in, Cointiply and FaucetGamers. If I have the time, I will tackle their surveys as well. Sometimes, I will complete a survey that helps me attain the minimum withdrawal limit. Pressing the ‘Withdraw’ button invigorates me as it bolsters my strength. I’m paying myself first before expending my energy on work-related drudgery!

6.30-6.40am - Walk to the eatery where I have my breakfast. Will mindlessly scroll through the articles on the Carrot app that is maintained by Bitcoin magazine. I get 5 sats per article and keep abreast of the latest Bitcoin developments, so why not? Walking is my favourite form of exercise because the sMiles app rewards me sats for my walking. In fact, I may be rewarded doubly for my walking because the Sweatcoin app is judiciously giving me Sweatcoins for my valiant walking as well. But the Sweatcoin team will only launch its crypto in September, and who knows if I will be able to redeem Sweatcoins for ahem, more useful crypto? So I won’t count my chickens before they are hatched.

6.40-6.55am - Devour my breakfast. Depending on my mood, I might be shitposting on r/cryptocurrency or typing my next article on Publish0x. What can I say? I love writing.

7-7.15am - Board the bus bound for my workplace. Yes, I’m lucky that my school provides a free shuttle bus service for students, thus enabling me to benefit. I usually type my Publish0x article on this bus journey.

7.15-7.30am - Power nap. Regardless of whether I finish the article or not, I will shut my eyes. Teaching is a demanding profession, and I need to gather my wits about me if I don’t want to be chewed alive by emotionally turbulent teenagers.

7.30-7.45am - Reach school. If I am in the right frame of mind, I will have finished my article. All I need to do then is to press ‘Publish’ and bask in the simple joy of getting the most important task checked off my to-do list.

7.45am to 2.45pm - Honestly, I will seldom have the presence of mind to further my crypto ventures. Most times, I barely get to sit down at my staffroom table. What I usually do is to scroll through the articles on Publish0x so that I can earn tips from reading. Alternatively, I will utilise the faucets from the above-mentioned websites.

2.45pm - The happiest moment of my work day because the bell will ring to signify dismissal.

3-5pm - A teacher’s job is never done, so there are usually school meetings and programmes that I have to attend. But somehow, my heart feels lighter, hence imbuing me with the energy to patronise sites like Coinpayu. Coinpayu has a blogging feature, so that’s why it’s on my radar. I really hope to earn sats from my writing there someday. I also try to visit FireFaucet.
I want to withdraw Bitcoin directly to my wallet but the bar FireFaucet sets is incredulously high: $10 worth of BTC. This explains why I don’t use it as often as Cointiply and FaucetGamers, but I try to do the Daily Bonus every day at least.

5-6.30pm - I get off work and (you guessed it right) walk to the nearest subway station. (Remember how I clock sats for my walking.) Usually, this is the time in which I pen something to fulfill my Daily Mission requirements at Torum. I think it will take me forever to attain the minimum 500 XTM withdrawal limit, but interacting with the Landers has been fun of late, with people resharing my posts and such. So I guess I’m hooked!

6.30-7.15pm - Pick up my boy from the childcare centre. Get marshalled to the nearby playground, in which he will play to his heart’s content. I try to be 100% present in the moment, but honestly, sometimes I cannot help taking my phone out to let the ads run or collect some Moons from the Moon faucet.

7.15-11pm - Hone sweet home! When you take care of a toddler, the night passes by in a blur as you hustle to get the varied household chores AND parenting duties done. Shower? Tick. Folding laundry? Tick. Hence, I don’t always have time to indulge in my crypto routine, but maybe I will shitpost on Reddit or collect some sats from the faucets. Otherwise, I will post something on my Facebook so that I can cross-post it here on Publish0x subsequently. Acting ahead is vital! If there are no ads for me to watch, then I will hop over to my GlobalHive account** and [PipeFlare account** ](https://pipeflare.io/r/dba7)to get my daily dose of Zcash. But I don’t always have the energy for GlobalHive and PipeFlare, so they are classified under good-to-haves in my book.

11pm - Collapse in bed, ready to rest my mind and charge tomorrow.

Yes, I know all this sounds rather impressive. But wait, there’s more. During the school holidays, I pay some loving attention to Faucetoshi and FaucetPay. Though to be honest, I seldom use these sites because I would rather read through the snarky comments on Reddit and see how I can add to them.

A daddy hustler’s job is never complete! But will I be able to sustain this high level of energy and engagement? Moving forward, I hope to curate some well-received posts I publish on Publish0x and Reddit and feature them prominently on my blog. If I work at generating a steady stream of visitors, maybe I will generate a source of passive income, albeit limited, that way. Then I may be able to put my foot off the gas pedal a little. Till then, this is the routine I have honed to an art.
