Nas Summit community taught me adulting isn’t perfect, but it’s ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛɪꜰᴜʟʟʏ ᴍᴇꜱꜱʏ ᴀɴᴅ ᴜɴɪQᴜᴇʟʏ ᴏᴜʀꜱ.

Ever dream of being in the same room as those creative KOIs (Key Online Influencers)?
Yeah, I thought so too.
Till my senior/mentor/friend decided to invite me to Nas Summit Asia 2024!
Instagram: Brent, Walter De Oude (CEO of Chocolate Finance) and me (Left to Right)
There was a palpable sense of safety and security, a space where it was okay to be where you are in your journey while dreaming bigger.
𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀—𝗮𝗟𝗟 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.
One of the biggest hurdles I’ve faced in content creation is the fear of putting myself out there, especially on video.
At the Summit, I was nudged (gently but persistently!) to collaborate on videos with other creators.
It was no longer just me speaking to a camera; it was us creating something together.
And guess what? It wasn’t as scary as I thought.
This experience reinforced a lesson for my FUTURE SELF:
Collaborate boldly, Amos. You don’t have to walk this journey alone.

As I reflect on these two intense days, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement. I’ve overcome 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 (𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭) fears, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫.
One day, you’ll 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨—𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚. 🌟

All the activities culminated in this sober reminder - that adulting isn’t about having everything figured out.
Ohh that childlikeness, how I missed thee~

Also, it’s about being open, trying new things, and laughing at yourself along the way.
To my fellow twenty-somethings: Your journey is valid. Your growth is messy, beautiful, and uniquely yours.
Growth thrives in curiosity, openness, and a dash of playfulness.🚀
“Identity capital is our collection of personal assets. It is the repertoire of individual resources that we assemble over time. These are the investments we make in ourselves, the things we do well enough, or long enough, that they become a part of who we are.” - Meg Jay, Author of Defining Decade
