The MSCP block will also house a preschool on its ground floor. 528 new flats, comprising 2-room Flexi and 4-room flats, are offered for sale in the Feb 2024 BTO sales exercise.

Bedok South Bloom is envisioned with lush landscaping, boasting abundant flora and fauna throughout the premises. Those seeking tranquility can find solace in the sensory garden or atop the MSCP’s roof garden. The project’s central green area provides activity spaces such as children’s playgrounds and fitness corners, catering to various recreational needs.

Not so far from amenities

Bedok South Bloom is located at the intersection of New Upper Changi Road and Bedok South Ave 2. It’s next to Bedok Green Primary School and across Bedok Stadium. The nearest MRT stations are Tanah Merah MRT (EW4) and Bedok MRT (EW5), which are equidistant to Bedok South Bloom.

It’s also close to numerous heartland amenities such as Marketplace @ 58 where you can get practically everything you need on a day-to-day basis. You’ll also find lots of sports facilities, from Bedok ActiveSG Stadium across the street and Bedok Court a short walk away, to neighbourhood parks and playgrounds nearby.

There are several schools in proximity as well, including Bedok Green Primary School that’s right beside it. There’s also Bedok View Secondary School and ASPN Katong School about 10 minutes way by foot.

There aren’t that many 4-room resale flats in the market, but we did find this 4-room resale flat at 169 Bedok South Ave 3. It’s a high-floor, corner unit and is quite spacious at 1,119 sq ft, for sale at around $720,000.

The 2nd BTO Feb 2024 launch site in Bedok is in Bedok North, named Bedok North Springs, which comprises three residential blocks, each towering 16 stories high. With a selection of 433 units ranging from 2-room Flexi to 4- and 5-room flats, residents have ample choices for their ideal home.

The project’s name, Bedok North Springs, draws inspiration from the spring season and the abundance of green spaces within. There’s no shortage of amenities in Bedok North, with neighbourhood parks, community centres, and Marketplace @ 58 either a walk or bus ride away.

Pros: You may be able to enjoy a waterfront view with Bedok Reservoir nearby, and easy transportation as the PIE is only a short drive away.

Cons: Proximity to the PIE might result in noise pollution. Also, a lot can happen in 5 or 10 years, which means your view may be affected by future developments.
