Revolut does not charge you additional fees for transferring money, however we can't prevent a beneficiary or intermediary bank from applying a fee as the money is moved or received.

For transferwise, you can take a look at this FAQ: https://transferwise.com/help/11/getting-started/2932118/incompatible-accounts-currencies

You can't. Due to anti money laundering regulations, many brokers such as Tiger only accept deposits made from accounts in your own name only. Revolut will count as a third-party transfer and any deposits made using it will be rejected.

Not sure if you can use the debit card to fund it using the USD. That is the way in. The way out might be through your MCA. Disclaimer: I have not used Saxo so no guarantee that it works.

Any Revolut SG users here? How is the experience of using Revolut for contactless "paywave" transactions?

Under PIN & Security section of the card options, you can enable the type of payments that you want to allow on the card. I think the options are disabled by default. Do check before proceeding with payment. They also allow adding the card to Apple Pay for contactless payments.

I was trying to fund my IB account with USD via Revolut and was hit with a USD20 SWIFT fee. Since that is no longer a viable route, does anyone have a cheaper way to fund IB with USD?

I personally just fund it directly with sgd using FAST tsfr available in all sg banks. IB have pretty good forex. Just buy the USD.SGD pair whenever u want to trade and u can straight away buy what stocks u want. I've always done that. Forex fee was just about US$2 only.

For SC, I don’t think so. They don’t provide the bank details for doing the wire transfer. I haven’t tried asking though. Maybe I should ask them next week. https://www.sc.com/sg/investment/livefx/ SC has the LiveFX platform now. So I usually use it to convert to USD from SGD. The conversion rate is usually less than 1% difference between LiveFX and TransferWise after fees.
