Not comparing the same thing, apple-for-apple. It is hard to do a direct contrast. However, you can base of their investment assets and management fees.

Any retail funds with High watermark fee structure? Why or why not?

Usually for hedge funds and comes at a cost of higher management/performance fees. Most retail investors tend to go with passive/index funds which usually just tracks the performance on an index or benchmark so this is not very applicable.

This structure is more common in hedge funds since it gives an additional challenge and as a result, will have higher management costs.

You can watch these videos and see if you can find the answer to your question: https://youtu.be/epzeyhQL3co (Pre-AGM Virtual Information - Webcast) https://youtu.be/ghctStNx12s (AGM 2020 - Webcast) This year, iFAST Corp opened their AGM for customers to attend, including a pre-AGM Virtual Information session. CEO won hands-down in answering those tough questions - steady pom pipi.

I think this would be a question to be directed to FSM! With DBS coming out with their own robo-advisor, I personally believe it would be a matter of time before other banks/brokerages follow suit. It is a good tool to create a diversified investment portfolio as well!

The lower 3 mentioned are all o.k. since U.S. Vanguard has a special cooperative corporate structure maybe VOO could be #1 choice. but doesn't matter too much

To buy S&P500, should I get directly from simple index funds / ETF or some Roboadvisor?

Hold on. Please get the Irish domiciled S&P500 instead. Those have more favourable dividends withholding tax treatment (15% tax instead of 30% tax), for a marginal increment in total expense ratio. You will be looking at VUSD or CSPX for ticker.

Since the theme is Invest, Fundamentally, which fundamental analysis is the best?

Honestly this depends, most of the answers listed here seem to indicate cash flow but while that's a decent snapshot of the current business, fundamental analysis may also include understanding the company's ability to generate this in the future. Buffet calls these "moats" and are discussed in depth in the Little Book That Builds Wealth by Pat dorsey. So understanding the importance of competitive advantage, debt and Return on Invested Capital are all sound levers to consider, but ultimately follow the approach that suits you best

Currently they are offering a Regular Savings Plan on selected ETFs with commission rates at only 0.08% ($1 minimum) with access to markets across SG, HK, and US. Personally, this is a real good deal as one of the lowest costs options for RSPs. Overall, a good platform for average investors in terms of being consumer-centric and user-friendliness.

Which brokerage platform offers the cheapest and safest way to buy an ETF that tracks the US indexes such as S&P500?

The two brokerage platforms I will recommend are TD Ameritrade and Interactove Broker. TD Ameritrade is more favourite because of its flat US$10.95 fee as brokerage comission for SIngapore accounts. This translates to about $14-$15. The unique thing is that as this is a flat fee, you can pay $100,000 for a single trade and the comission is still US $10.95. This equates to a low percentage of your trade. Hence TD Ameritrade is a platform i like. On top of this, it has access to many foreign stock exchanges besides the US
