The best of the lot is definitely Binance SG. The largest one out there while also the cheapest and having the best spot rate. Can't go wrong with them.

How to get started on interactive brokers?
Tbh you shouldn't be too concerned about taxes because the main purpose of investing in us market is capital growth, not for dividends. While ireland ones have lower dividend tax, the expense ratio might be higher. You also need to consider liquidity trading volume of the etf

Any advice which platform to invest in US Equities, ETF besides iFast?
Hi Anon, iFast is listed on SGX, but for US Equities you can check out TD Ameritrade, Tiger Brokers and IBKR. TD Ameritrade has 0 comissions but has a long wait to get your account opened (I heard it's about 3 months), and has a 25 USD withdrawal fee. The FX rates are not too bad, they use DBS' Treasures rate. Tiger Brokers has a min fee of USD1.99, and a new DDA program with DBS that makes it convenient to deposit/withdraw funds. FX cost is roughly 0.3-0.4%. IBKR has a maintainence fee (which will be waived for AUM 100k, which seems to be your case), has the best FX rates. All are licensed by MAS.

Is it better invest in a similar ETF in HKEX instead of US or UK markets for long term ETF investing due to taxes?
I don't know how much things have changed since about 3 years ago, but back then I could not find a decent HKEX broker in singapore to buy and hold shares/ETFs at a decent fees. even though there is no dividend or capital gains tax in HK, the broker custodian fees alone was too high for my liking. thus, i went for US broker and more recently, robos to gain exposure into US. another thing to take note of is the expense ratio. on surface you might see HK has no tax, but it could all be already taxed at source (ie at US). so even if there is such ETF, the price or NAV of the ETF could already reflect all the taxes nett off. hope this helps.

You could try using Interactive Brokers, Tiger Brokers or TD Ameritrade (I use this). I don't think they could automatically buy for you monthly on TD so what I do is set a calendar date to let me know to buy in monthly. I personally do this for ARKG cause Genomics is not something I understand to pick stocks on my own. And yes, TD comission is now $0, so might as well ay!

What is the difference between investing in USA ETFs using robo-advisors and brokers? Which is the best and has the lowest fees?
For Kristal AI, you are limited to those offered on their platform. If I'm not mistaken, the charge is USD 1 (+ taxes) per purchase. Kristal AI also charges a management fee if your account is USD10,000 of 0.30%. For FSMOne, the RSP is also limited to those on their RSP plan and with each purchase it is 0.08% or USD 1 (whichever is higher). As far as I know, holding ETFs are not subjected to custody/holding fees. For Tiger Broker, you can purchase any ETF on the US, HK or SG markets. Tiger Brokers charges about ~USD 1.99 per trade. Tiger Brokers does not charge custodian fees. If you're buying an ETF on FSMOne/Kristal AI's platform, it'll likely be cheaper to buy on FSMOne since they do not charge a management fee. However, if the ETF you're looking at is not available on either's RSP, then Tiger is way to go because Tiger has lower comms on normal ETF purchase. Hope this helps!

Just bought a stock at limit order price on Tiger Brokers. When I view my holdings, the amount is slightly higher?
The price in your holdings like reflects the commissions incurred as well. This would give you a more accurate reflection of your P/L for that position. So, the price reflected should be = ((No. of shares Price Executed at) + Commissions) / (No. of Shares)

How to invest for beginners? Can I use Tiger Brokers to trade with ETF or Index Funds?
Perhaps you can go through robo-advisor if your capital is not huge, like stashaway or syfe. WIll recommend equity100 for strong growth given that it's all equities. Yes you can use tiger brokers to buy index etfs like VTI, CSPX, VOO etc. Just take note that you will incur transaction fees everytime you buy or sell. Same for stocks, dollar cost average, u can buy just 1 share depending on your capital.

Are there any cryptocurrency investment brokerage to recommend?
I think it would depend on what you are using it for. If you are a regular trading you should use binance its a great UI and UX experience. But for fiat on ramps, you can check out Tokenize Xchange!

Are the conversion rates on Interactive Brokers almost spot rates?
Personally, I use IBKR as well. I am using SGD as my base currency and I only convert when I have a substantial sum ready to be converted to maximise the conversion fee. So I transfer my SGD as usual into IBKR, but only convert when I have enough.
