[Commission Rates] Cashupfront is cheaper and deposit into cdp account but if you are sell the stock you can only use cash account which incurred big transaction fee. Planning to switch to a cheaper brokerage to sell the stock. SRS account can only trade using cash account which also incur big transaction fee. [User Interface] The interface is functional but the interface looks outdated for years, big differences from ibanking interface.

Very poor trading app. Such limited functionality that I signed up for another broker. Also, they require a physical token (which can't be your phone) for some functions. Who does that these days? Note commissions for US trading are far lower among some of their competitors. No reason to use Vickers when they're still stuck in the stone age and not prioritising the customer experience. DBS is banking on its brand name.

[Commission Rates] commission rates are low for cash upfront if you want the holdings to be in CDP. recommended if want to hold stocks for long, but not to trade as the fees are higher than other platforms [Customer Service] The application took quite long, guess is due to huge number of applications during this period and maybe lesser people working. [User Interface] Interface still not too bad. Still able to navigate around. Would be better if their phone app is good...

The application process took longer than expected (approved only after a few weeks), perhaps due to the increased number of requests. The user interface was not as user friendly as i hoped to be.

[Updated on 4 July 2020] Still a user of DBS Vickers as my main brokerage. If you are getting a DBS Vickers account, I would recommend people to use the cash upfront service to enjoy lower commissions. Ever since the last update, I haven't called the customer service but hope there are some improvements. [Original on 19 Oct 2019] DBS Vickers has been my first and main brokerage account since 2009. I use the Cash Upfront service which gives lower commissions. I don't do contra anyway so I'm ok to transfer money to DBS Vickers before I do my trade. The customer service is not the best but they do get things done for me.
