[Customer Service] FWD has a great customer service team. It's very easy to get in touch using the chatbot or hotline. Agents are also friendly and helpful. [Purchase Process] One of the things I like best about FWD. It's so easy to buy online. Great user interface, simple journey, from quote to checkout, it was a breeze. [Insurance Coverage] Coverage is pretty standard/competitive. I like that FWD doesn't make you name other drivers or pay extra to cover them. Anyone you trust to drive your car gets covered (other than young drivers under 26—that's a pretty standard extra) [Others] I received an SMS and email 2 months prior to my renewal date to renew early for 2%+3% early bird and loyalty discount. Plus, the site was offering a 25% promo code as well so I got a pretty good deal.0

What Is FWD Lifetime NCD Guarantee?
This is a benefit that is uniquely FWD.
As long as you have a comprehensive plan with FWD, you are eligible for Lifetime NCD Guarantee when your NCD is 50%.
And once you get the LIfetime NCD Guarantee, it means that your NCD will remain at 50% no matter how many claims you make.
This doesn't mean that you should get into more accidents, because even though your 50% NCD is guaranteed, your premium might be affected.
What Kind Of Add-Ons Are Available With FWD Car Insurance?

- 1. NCD Protector : Protects your No-claim Discount of 30% or 40%. Good for one claim only
- 2. Overseas Booster: Enhanced emergency assistance and coverage while driving in Malaysia and parts of Thailand
- 3. Young Driver Excess Waiver: Option to pay more to waive the high excess for young drivers (27 years old and below)
- 4. Your Preferred Workshop: For the flexibility of choosing your preferred, non FWD authorised workshop
Young or Inexperienced Driver Excess
- Drivers under 27 years old, or have less than 2 years of driving experience, are subject to a higher excess if they have an accident.
- FWD Car Insurance additional excess for young drivers is S$2,500.
However, they do provide an option for you to lower this excess.
Verdict: Is FWD Car Insurance the Best Car Insurance in Singapore?
- The FWD Classic is good value for drivers older than 27 years old as premiums drop about 20%, can avoid the $2,500 Young Driver Excess as well
