With the Covid-19 issue ongoing now, is it still a safe bet to RSP an index that tracks the S&P 500 such as vanguard? Also, is there a recommended amount to RSP for US ETFs as well?

What are some of the risks that I run investing now?

RSP works best during market downturn, the problem is many ppl stop RSP when they see market going down everyday due to fear.

Investment amount is depends on individual bah, some ppl start with $100, some ppl $1k, some $5k. But if you are using brokerage like SCB, you will need to see your transaction fees vs brokerage fees, make sure the brokerage fees less than 1%, else it will eat up your profit.

Ultimately you have to know your goal and setup a path to get there.
