When is the “right time” for you to liquidate your funds?

What factors would make you liquidate your funds from be it robo advisors or stocks etc....?

When you need the money. if not, if you believe the business is still doing well or growing, why let go of the golden goose?

When you invest for the right reasons in the right way, you would never want to liquidate your investments in the stock market.

When its reached my upper threshold, i need the money or when i cut

I (almost) never liquidate.

Since the success of single stocks is not predictable and Unit Trusts have terrible fees I mostly invest into passive (technology) ETFs.

I plan to hold these forever. It would be wiser, however, to select global passive stock ETFs like ticker ISAC.

That said , I still sold some rarely, f.ex. when I speculated on a turn around, which never happened (maybe should have waited longer, still no turn around up to now), then there were some (3 - 4) total losses during the dotcom-crisis.

Good luck!
