I started trading in my early 20s. I was a contra trader trading penny stocks in Singapore market. Bought my very own first stock (Yuzoo), which is an e-commerce business. Soon, I realise that trading was a roller coaster ride for me, and I hate the idea of not able to sleep well at night. Haha. Eventually, I decided to invest where I put x dollar amount of money into ETF.

I bought my first stock in my late 20s and I only became more interested in investing last year because it's time to take a more active role in growing my money. However all these years, I have been putting them in safer heavens like savings plan, so it still grew just that it's at a lower rate.

A few years after starting work.
Spent the first few years of work spending money and not saving. Worse still, a low base pay and below average increments and no bonuses. Didn’t help to make my life better.
Decided to start investing to try and grow my wealth.
Started small with RSPs.
Progressed to equities in US.
Current portfolio is down but still looking to the future.
Hopefully I can make it one day.

I started trading when I was about 18. Had always wanted to learn how to invest and I saw an ad on social media about Plus500 and I started trading options without knowing exactly what I was even doing. Made and lost money there.
Eventually I decided to stop whatever I was doing and research more about it first before I continue. After doing quite a bit of research, I bought my first stock when I was about 20 years old.
