What is the benefit for supplementary card? Planning to get a UOB One supplementary card for my wife but unsure how it benefits? Is it worth to get supplementary card?

I have seen discussion that supplementary spending is not included as the min $500/$1000/$2000 for the UOB One. Can I clarify that? And what can one benefit from as a supplementary cardholder of the UOB One card? Any advice on a good supplementary card and how to maximize the use of it.

Supplementary card spending does count towards the overall card spend, so no need to worry. The key benefit of a supplementary card is convenience, and can help you achieve your target spending amount since the amount is pooled.

These days, you can just add the card to Apple/Google/Samsung Pay anyway, and most places accept contactless payments. Do check on fees to see if it is worth it.
