What changes do you expect to see implemented when President-elect Biden takes over in Jan? How will your portfolio be affected?

Are you changing up some of your holdings according to the elections?

Hi Anon,

I think it depends on the timeline of your investment time horizon. If you're in for a long time, I don't think you should frame your portfolio according to the president (check out the charts here: https://www.wealthanalytics.com/are-you-nervous...).

If you're looking at a shorter time frame, you might want to look at some of the industries that will favor from a Democratic President, like wind & solar and marijuana. From a policy perspective, the Democrats do want to shift to alternative energy and do want to de-criminalise the use of marijuana. You can check out FSLR and Canopy Growth for the two industries I stated respectively.

No expectations. seriously he is not my president and he can what he wants. Trump or no Trump, Biden or no Biden, Xi or no Xi, Putin or no Putin, Lee or no Lee. don't care. more importantly i still dollar cost average into my ETFs which i intend to continue holding for the next 20years as a long term investor
