I wanna share also a questions I ask on SA vs SRS on Seedly FB in Jan 2018 for benefits of members considering SA or SRS top up to save tax and get 4% interest on SA or SRS since we want to invest someway somehow.

I would recommend going for a combination of REITs and STI ETF

The former requires you to,

study and understand how REIT works (Start here)
always have spare cash in your SRS
continuously review and rebalance your portfolio of REITs

The latter requires to,

buy frequently, preferably bi-annually (like on your birthday and on the day that you are topping up your SRS account)
do nothing else

You can may use one of the online brokerages (See Reviews) which support SRS cash to purchase stocks
