I’m interested in investing in this.
After doing my research, I found out that there are many fees involved. Is it still worth it to invest in it? Does this index perform worse than STI etf after accounting for all the fees?
Fees are Exchange rate(0.4-1%), brokerage fee(0.20-0.30%), Stamp duty(1%) and dividend tax of 15%. Correct me if i’m wrong :)
(let me know if i missed out any fees)

It depends on what is your objective. The greater the returns the greater the risk.

Hi Anon, I would like to point you to a very useful article: https://newacademyoffinance.com/best-tax-effici...
The S&P500 ETF is a growth etf which means even buying lump sum and holding it long term, you'll have decent returns, compared to STI ETF which has been going sideways for a long time. The returns you'll get from S&P500 even after deducting these fees will likely be more than that of STI ETF.
