Should I a) use my CPF OA funds to invest in Endowus or b) transfer my OA balance into SA to earn 4% interest? (Assume house is already bought and no other use for OA funds)?

(I'm asking partly because I'm aware Endowus has had several joint webinars with 1M65's Mr. Loo who would likely be a proponent of the latter)

Hi Mr Risk Averse,

The expected returns from the Endowus equities portfolio is more than 4% - if you are able to commit that money into long term investments then you should be able to do better than 4% returns. You can read more about investing your CPF from my co-founder, Greg here

Ultimately the decision hinges on your risk apetite, investment time horizon. Hope this helps!

You can keep it in OA and invest it through Endowus if you are optimistic the platform can give returns of 4% or more. If you are unwilling to bear the uncertainty/risk, you can transfer over to SA for fixed 4%.
