Is there any difference between 8.8, 9.9, 10.10, 11.11 and 12.12 sales? Why then do we have so many of these sales?

Or are they all part of a marketing gimmick for more sales?

I do not think there is a very big difference in price, probably slightly as there are also other factors that might affect the price of an item. As for example, something that is newly released on 8.8 can be more expensive on that day even though it is on sales and then it might become slightly cheaper by the time it reaches 12.12 as it can be considered an old model already.

All these sales I would think it is good for people that are indecisive as well, as maybe people need time to decide if they want to get it. Then when they see the sales price of the item they want on 9.9, they might still be looking around and then only get it on let's say 10.10. Therefore, in the end it still helps to drive sales.

A very good excuse to launch sales events to stir purchases.

Learn to simply accept that in most cases, sales are pretty much guaranteed.

Money is simply worth more than marked-up products.

There is little to no difference between the sales listed. However, 11.11 tends to be the biggest of you based on the past.

A sale you have not included is black friday and cyber monday. Black friday is more of a western thing and is most likely what 11.11 was based on. Cyber Monday focuses on sales for technology and while there isn't much difference here, in the west you won't get better deals than on this day.

Some marketing gimmick....
