Since many banks have tied up with insurance company to offer insurance products is it better to purchase a plan from insurance company or thru bank?
I think it is better to get a trust worthy insurance agent that is in it for the long term. The agent will take care of you and provide the high touch assistance.
Banks are more concern about selling products
Financial products are like medicine. If they're simple, getting them from whatever pharmacy really doesn't matter. But if it's a little complicated, you want to consult a doctor for detailed advice.
Same thing here. Choose your doctor, not your hospital/pharmacy.
