Hi friend. I am assuming you need $10000 during this period amidst the pandemic. Do consider logging on to Fastjobs or other career portals to join the frontline (cleaning/healthcare assistants). Depending on the various companies, you may earn $9k or above.

short of turning to the dark side or falling afoul of the law.

I would highly recommend you to speak to your MP, and apply for assistance.
