I am an investing newbie here, if I have savings of $50k to invest now, what suggestions do you have for my portfolio?

What would be some viable investments for me at the moment? What are the platforms that I should be looking at? Should I be looking at high or low risk investments?

If you want responsible financial advice, then we got to know more about you. For instance, your age, your investment objective, risk appetite. Without proper information, we can only attempt to give you general advice that may or may not work for you.

Here are some questions to help you:

  1. What is your capital? E.g. $50k

  2. How will you want to invest your capital? E.g. lump sum or an amount on a regular basis

  3. How long will you want to stay invested? E.g. 10 years

  4. What is your risk appetite? E.g. How do you feel about short-term volatility?

  5. What is your objective for investing?

By having answers to the five questions, we can then attempt to build a portfolio that fits into what you need. Accordingly, this ensures that it fulfils your investment objectives in the long run.

To summarise what hariz mentioned,
What is your investment goals and your risk profile (your current status)?

Great way to start is via Etf, robo advisors such as endowus, syfe, auto wealth. Some of them have human interactions too so u can seek advise from their financial advisors

Editted.
U may want to consider endowus due to the size of your capital and low fees
