How do you use Google Pay at supermarkets for cashback?

Hi, anyone use Google Pay at supermarkets (FairPrice, Sheng Shiong) before? How do you choose this mode of payment (cashier/ self-checkout points)?

I am keen to use Google Pay as a form of payment more often in my daily purchases due to the cashback benefits. However, I am not sure how to make payment through Google Pay in supermarkets. Any useful insights on how to do so will be appreciated!

Hello Vanessa,

If you're referring to the two scratchcards that you can get every week from a min. payment of $3 to merchants. Then besides the two that are mentioned above (Grab and Singtel Dash) actually you can also get the scratchcards by topping up YouTrip via Paynow!

Since Grab's paynow top up is gonna cease on 1 April ;)
