Haha it doesn't work so easily this way.

but at the minimum, grab a good education. A degree is very useful in signaling to your employer you are management level. If you don't have a degree, a diploma is alright too. these education papers are just that, signalling that you are management qualified.

most of the time though to be a great manager (with promotion and high salary) you need to have the skillset and understand what your team is going through. most manager have a much wider skillset than their staff.

those who are lousier than their staff, these type of managers can't last long, with not much promotion opportunities.
