How do I get into the product development team of a bank? I wish to create financial products which are accessible to retailers.?

I deal with the insurance products sold via bancassurance and was working in insurance companies for many years on product pricing - the interactions with the product management teams in the insurance companies gave me enough knowledge to shift into the bank channels fairly easily.

But do note there is quite a lot of different types of products handled with different departments. This is just one route of many.
