How can we find and support the older hawkers who are digitally disadvantaged?
This COVID-19 pandemic has driven us to dine at home more than we like. Even with the latest Circuit Breaker 2.1, dining in is officially not an option.
As we move to rely on food deliveries and the internet to satisfy our daily meals, there is a great disadvantage for hawkers that are run by the older generation that are digitally less savvy.
If we do not support them, I fear that some of these stalls will be forced into retirement and Singaporeans will lose a lot of these quality food hawkers to the pandemic.

Most of the older people do not have the means to learn those technology devices . Even we teach them, they may forget easily. The best way is to promote their stall through words of mouth and through their reputation . They will be able to pull it through.
Or we can consider setting up a new platform that is easy to operate for them to use.
