Hi there,
Just to clarify, can i confirm that this $4,000 you have is spare cash on top of your emergency funds and daily expenses set aside? If it is not, I would strongly suggest you to build up that pool first.
If yes, then may I suggest you to take a look at STI ETF as a start. I bought it as my first stock as well, a very good place to start. In the meantime, do take the time to build up the investing knowledge by reading books, forums, and of course asking more questions here!!
