Given a decade,I'd pick alternative energy. Its adoption has picked up in Europe, surpassing the US, and with the POTUS pledging to clean energy, the adoption rate will just skyrocket from here. Governments will just accelerate the takeup rate and i feel we would see the alternative energy as the key theme is this decade. Even Singapore's BTOs are getting clean energy features.
I believe genomics will rise too, but given the many hurdles of audits and ethics it might face, it will have a slower progress. Also, the high cost compared to clean energy.
But give it a few decades, genomics would do better than clean energy once clean energy becomes a norm.
Other key themes i have on my watchlist would be the gaming industry and space exploration!
