Can you buy s&p500 index fund listed in us stock exchange with standard chartered?

Do standard charted acc have access to all the index fund/ companies listed in New York Stock Exchange or there is only a limited choice offered by them?

I understand that the dividends/capital gains will be taxed by the US. Is there any other important fees which I should be aware of?

Thank you in advance :)

Another fee to take note of the FX spread, which can go up to 0.4% on Standard Chartered. Nevertheless, it is possible to minimize this fee if you are a priority banking customer with them.

For US stocks, there is estate tax of 40%. Alternatively, you keep your total investment in US at below $60k.

For index fund, you can consider those Irish domiciled fund which you are paying lesser witholding tax and estate tax.

Yes, standard chartered has access to US stock exchanges, so you can find the S&P500 ETF.
