Can I get a partial refund for my hotel booking from Expedia because of the COVID-19 situation? It was booked non-refundable but shouldn't the hotel/Expedia make exceptions in this case?
Also, how to get in touch with Expedia's helpdesk? Could only get in touch with the hotel via Expedia's contact form, and the hotel only agrees to postponing the booking dates, but I seriously doubt it would be safe to travel in October, either.

I think Expedia is caught offguard by these sudden explosion of cancellation too. No choice, we have to give everyone time to settle all issues.

they don't do for every booking but email repeatedly and hope for the best.
