Insurance

At 24 years old, I am interested in insuring with AIA. What are the policies for health, term life, critical illness, disability, PA etc. on the AIA website that I can lookup?

Currently, I have an active savings plan and also an investment strategy which I want to keep separate from this essential health insurance. Hence, I do not want any ILPs. Looking for affordable yet sufficient coverage.

I want to know which brouchers I can study on the AIA website to make an informed decision. I also want to know a reasonable estimate on how much I will be looking at spending monthly, given my monthly take home salary is $3500.

Hi anon,

If you only want to insure with AIA, then you may consider the following products:

Health

Healthshield Gold Max: https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/medical-...

Term for death/TPD

Secure Flexiterm: https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/life-pro...

Critical Illness:

Whole Life Limited Pay - Guaranteed Protect Plus (II): https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/life-pro...

Multipay - Power Critical Cover: https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/critical...
Multipay - Beyond Critical Care: https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/critical...

Disability:

Premier Disability Cover: https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/disabili...

PA:

Solitaire: https://www.aia.com.sg/en/our-products/accident...

Brouchures would be available on those links for you to read, and after reading, you can reply to this post with any further questions and I can answer them for you, as I also distribute AIA products.

You can expect to not spend more than $350/mth in cash for your coverage, and not more than ~$80/mth from your medisave for the hospitalization plan.
