Anyone tried funding USD to Saxo with DBS multicurrency account? What are the fees involved?

I can't find any information from the site. Any hidden costs or fees that I should be aware of? Thank you!

Use TransferWise for any conversion of currencies and send back to Your own account, much cheaper (and very reliable & safe) than Your banks or brokers. Second choice could maybe be CurrencyFair as to the fees.

But make sure that Your bank/broker does not charge high fees for money out transfers to TransferWise.

Assuming you're are Singapore based person with mostly SGD and your Saxo account is USD denominated. It's more efficient to transfer SGD to Saxo (Saxo will auto-convert to USD at ~mid market rate +0.75% fee, I think). If you use DBS to convert your USD, you get a lousier rate (DBS forex rates..), even after taking Saxo's fee into account.

Hidden fees... note the following when transferring from Saxo back to DBS MCA:

Saxo (send in SGD) - DBS MCA (receive in SGD) -- no fee

Saxo (send in USD) - DBS MCA (receive in USD) -- ~S$10 incoming wire fee

learnt this the hard way... by trying it out :(
