Any stock trading class to recommend?

Hi, I am 22 this year and got really interested in the financial market over the past two years. I have started with investing in local REITs and STI index. I've read articles on trading and attended a free seminar on trading. However, i could not afford to take up the class because it was 5k. Anyone with recommendations to trading class that are affordable, please share..

Very affordable, and gives a good overview of what a beginner needs to know. It's more skewed towards trading, however the skills that you pick up can also help in long-term investing.

I would recommend you to read a book call "Rich by Retirement". It's tailored for Singaporean. You can save $5k and put into yr investment account instead

If you are looking for a beginner friendly (and wallet friendly) option, can consider dividend machines. It's online modules plus a live whole day workshop. You get access to it for life. It covers on reits and dividend stocks.

But, if you want pure trading per se, then you need to pay 3+k. And this exclude account startup fees.

Btw, your delving into reits and STI index are completely different from trading. What your are doing is more akeen to investing. Trading involves getting in and out of positions rather quickly. Positions can last from seconds to days or weeks depending on your trade style and choice of instrument. If you don't have the heart for roller-coaster action every weekday, don't get into trading.

Investing/trading knowlege is out there, free & accessible in the form of books (borrowed from library), blogs, youtube videos, discussion forums.

Courses out there are merely using basic foundational knowledge and rehashing with the instructor's own twist so as to charge beginners for a fee in return for providing an educational crutch to shorten your learning curve. Nothing wrong with that, but you need to know its not a sure gurantee to success even after coughing out the money

There're alot of free resources online to learn more about investing, I've picked up a thing or two ...
