Any reviews on YouTrip? How good are the exchange rates compared to money changers?

I saw the YouTrip product online being advertised and was wondering if the product is really useful? With no exchange rate fees at google rates and also a debit card which can be used locally. But I was wondering can I withdraw money if I put it inside? See that they partnered with EZLINK so should be legit? Appreciate any reviews please!

Rate wise from our research so far we are very much on par with some of the most competitive money changer. I also see other comments in Seedly community that our user have done the head to head comparison with money changer to show our rate is better. But for sure rates change from time to time so please continue to compare!

We are fundamentally promoting a cashless payment overseas but at the same time we do support overseas cash withdrawal, as a cost of $5 per overseas withdrawal to cover our costs for cash processing. Meanwhile the Sing dollar withdrawal is not quite fitting into the use case we want to build, and we are also limited by regulations not to offer such feature.

However most of the time I feel it’s back to an assurance point of view. My most objective possible fact that I would say is:

  • You can just swipe your MasterCard in Singapore even simply in NTUC if you want to deplete your account value

And hopefully that can come to give users some more assurance, despite the lack of local ATM withdrawal.

Hope it helps!
