Any hacks to get discounts on Grab rides?

Somehow I end up taking Grab to work every morning, they don't give out promos directly anymore, can everyone share about where is the best way to optimise Grab rides?
Eg. Shopee vouchers 10% off + AMEX credit card 4mpd

I'm not sure if Up still has the referral programme https://www.upplan.sg I got some $5 Grab rides codes when people signed up via a personal link. You may want to give it a try. No guarantees but it's free anyway so no harm in trying this method. Hope this helps!

Ongoing 35% pointsback promotion on GrabRewards Points - redeem Grab/GrabFood vouchers with 35% points rebated back into your account
Change pickup/drop off location to other nearby places to look for price drops (ie pick up from a neighbouring block, drop off at a neighbouring building). This occasionally saves me $1.
If there is a surge, you may be better off hailing a good ol' taxi. Grab's surge prices can spike ridiculously at times.
